PDQ Partners With Alachua County Library To Host Read Blast

Apr 25

Reading is a blast! During the month of April and May, PDQ Gainesville is taking a page from Alachua County Library District’s (ACLD) book and hosting a Read Blast incentive program encouraging children ages 4 to 12 to read five books.

Each Book Worm will get their card stamped at a participating library and receive a free Kids Meal from our Gainesville crew. “This community partnership with our local PDQ Gainesville restaurant helps us promote literacy and reading,” said Librarian Supervisor Youth Services Headquarters Library Gail Carr. “Providing reading incentives helps children learn to set goals and chart their success. This is another creative way to engage children and families.”
