Earlier this month our PDQ Las Vegas gang teamed up with the
Las Vegas 51s Baseball Team to collect supplies for women and children living in Safe Nest shelters.
Safe Nest is an organization that aims to end domestic abuse and provides a safe space for affected women and their children.
Guests brought in all kinds of toiletries, ranging from toothbrushes to hair care products and even diapers. In just one week, the Las Vegas community came together and collected more than 300 items to donate to Safe Nest.
At the end of the week, guests were able to hang out with some of the Vegas 51s Players before their big game at a meet and greet event hosted at both
PDQ Craig & Allen and
PDQ Sahara locations.
Guests that donated also had the opportunity to receive a PDQ card good for three free tenders, a sandwich or salad. Teaming up with other members in our community and giving back is what we live for. Giving back not only feels good, but tastes great too!
