Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Nelson Agholor hosted his annual football camp last Saturday at his alma mater - Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, and our PDQ team was there to fuel up the campers. The Nelson Agholor Football Camp is held every summer for Tampa Bay elementary and middle school children.
Agholor, a former PDQ Team Member who helped us open the very first PDQ in South Tampa back in 2011 and is now a PDQ Ambassador, believes giving back to the community he once called home is important. While the goal of the camp is to teach children how to be better football players, the ultimate goal is to teach the campers how to be better people.
While Agholor now calls Philadelphia home during the season, his Tampa roots still drive him to give back to the community anyway he can. Most importantly, the campers left with smiles on their faces and memories they won’t forget.
