PDQ Hits the Big Apple at Conde Nast

Jun 26

As the PDQ brand has started to expand over the last few years, including locations now in 11 states, excitement has continued to build.

Last Wednesday, PDQ stepped right into the limelight in New York City on the 35th floor of One World Trade Center, the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere and the sixth-tallest in the world. One World Trade Center (also known as 1 World Trade Center, 1 WTC or Freedom Tower is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan and houses Conde Nast. Conde Nast is one of the biggest publishing houses in the world and magazines in the building include Bon Appetit, Brides, Vogue and Teen Vogue, House & Garden, GQ, Conde Nast Traveler, and more.

PDQ Executive Chef Michael Brannock and PDQ Chef Bryce Bonsack were invited to take part in the rotating guest chef program at Conde Nast, serving our hugely-popular Honey Butter chicken sandwich, Yia Yia's Greek Salad and our new Totchos. The feedback was overwhelming, with the PDQ line the longest throughout lunch. In fact, the reaction to PDQ's yummy offerings was so big that we sold out before lunch was even finished.
